Great footballer
Jack and Helen Reid, 54 and 62, from Lanark, attended the funeral to pay their respects to a "real gentleman".
Mr Reid said: "He was a tribute to football all over the world. An excellent gentleman."
Mrs Reid added: "He was a great footballer, he never forgot his roots."
